Website privacy
Simple site.
Limited data.
This page explains how the rebuilt Matanuska Brewing website handles information used for inquiries, optional retailer-location sorting, and linked third-party services.
Information you choose to submit
When you use the contact or private-event forms, the site processes the information you enter so the brewery can receive and respond to your request. Depending on the form, that may include your name, email address, phone number, inquiry type, event details, and message.
Form submissions are sent through the website's email-delivery provider to the brewery. The website does not intentionally publish form submissions or store them in the public GitHub repository.
Optional device location
The Find Our Beer page can ask your browser for location access so it can sort retailer locations by distance and apply a radius filter. That feature is optional. Distance calculation runs in the browser and the page does not send your precise device coordinates to Matanuska Brewing's server to perform the sorting.
The interactive map uses OpenStreetMap map tiles. Loading those tiles makes ordinary web requests to the map-tile provider, which can receive technical request information such as your IP address, browser information, and the tile areas requested. You can still use the text retailer list without granting device-location permission.
Basic security and anti-spam
Forms use validation and anti-spam controls. Cloudflare may process ordinary request information needed to serve and protect the website. If Turnstile is enabled, Cloudflare's verification service will also process the information necessary to perform that security check.
The rebuilt forms are designed to use Resend for email delivery when production credentials are configured. Information submitted through a form is therefore transmitted to the email-delivery service as needed to deliver the message to the brewery.
External services
Links to online ordering, merchandise, gift cards, maps, social media, and other outside services take you to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
